GSX-R 1127 barrels - standard??

I’ve a set of 1127 barrels, pot#2 (nearest starter) has a small amount removed from the inboard-side of the piston liner (see photo).

Is this stock on an 1127 as I don’t remember seeing it on a 1200 Bandit block??

Yeah it's to clear the primary gear.

I thought it might be… but don’t remember seeing it on a Bandit motor… should have checked my assembly photo’s first!!

Bandit 1200 cc cylinder #3 liner don´t have it.
