So what I want to know is will the 1100 front wheel , 2.75 x 18 swap ok into the 750 with a 2.50 x 18 . I notice the tyre size is the same at 110 / 80 / 18

Went on the suzuki classic spares site , lists the same front wheel bearings for a gsxr750f and a gsxr 1100g , ordered some 750 bearings and we will go from there ....

The first F 750 had a 15mm front spindle and then the g and H and the 1100’s had 17mm so part numbers could be the same

Was looking up 85 , f model , mmmm.

Measured the 1100 bearings and you are right , 17mm  :)

Hopefully the ones I  get are 15mm as I  have an 85 gsxr 750f

The forks could have been changed to the later ones for the 17mm spindle ……

That would be confusing , I haven't even mentioned swapping the rear wheel yet for an 1100 one , lol

Right , well just to answer my own question,  to swap from an 750f front wheel to a 1100g front , use the 15mm id 750 bearings , everything else is the same.

750f rear wheel to 1100g rear is basically a straight swap including the disc , sprocket carrier,  spacers etc.

Hope this helps others in the future.

Cheers puddy  :)
