Just a tip/discovery which may be useful if you're putting a different arm into a GSX frame.

One of the changes which needs to be made if you're not using the original GSX cast alloy hangers is to shorten the arm spindle. On the GS1100l spindle doesn't go through the hangers, so if you can find or have an 1100l spindle it's the correct length for using without the original hangers.

yep, bin their done that   couldn't find a used one anywhere at the time but did find a new old stock one
