I picked this up earlier in the year, and while it looked ok, it was actually a polished turd. The rear suspension links were seized solid, left fork worn through through the Chrome, Copper, Zinc (or whatever the layers are) and into to the base metal. (Fucked). Sticky calipers and even cracked headers. The rest of the bike is in reasonable condition with recent paint and a few new bits to make it look nice. Inspired by this mornings Turbo lunacy, I thought I’d pull the TLR off the bench as it’s nearing completion and get it outside for the first time since the revamp. So, what do have here? GSXR600 K5 forks with some modified internals to fit TL1000R Hyperpro Progressive springs. RSV Mille Brembo Wheels. Triumph 675 Nissin Radials and Carbon Ceramic pads. (Yokes and Axle are TL) Maxton Rear shock and linkage. Full Yoshi system (Taken from the KaTL) Period aftermarket undertray that actually has BULBS!!! Brembo Rear Caliper and a one off 28/25mm rear axle to suit the wheels. 525 Chain and sprocket conversion. Next up is fresh paint for the tank and a new Fuel Pump and it’s ready to roll!!!
