Hi!

My name is Fredrik and I live in Sweden, I just got my hands on a 750ef -85.. And I have an Idea of swaping in a 750gsx-r engine in it, a -91 Whould be great most punch! But it might be hard to find..

Is it very big differens in sizes of the engines? Will it fit , whats needed..

Best regards!

Fredrik

You probably mean one of these;

If you do, a swap to an Oilcooled engine is fairly straight-forward, if you have access to a welder. Physically smaller than what you have now, a whole lot lighter, and even more faster :)

Simon did one with an 1100, so 750 will be an easy fit.

I´ll se where Im at when it time to get real with the bike, A turbo might be added to, I know it´s much cheaper to buy one, but whats the fun with that ;-)
Im not all new to mechanics, I´ve build some cars and a V8 race engine, and study to engineer. So I will get it together, but Im not specifik good at Japanes Bikes, I have mostly delt with Harleys and Triumphs. But I like all sorts of bike. Oki not GoldWing and such ;-) ..
