MadFred Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Hi! My name is Fredrik and I live in Sweden, I just got my hands on a 750ef -85.. And I have an Idea of swaping in a 750gsx-r engine in it, a -91 Whould be great most punch! But it might be hard to find.. Is it very big differens in sizes of the engines? Will it fit , whats needed.. Best regards! Fredrik Quote
MadFred Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Maybee better to put this thread in GSX aircooled forum.. Quote
Rene EFE Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 You probably mean one of these; If you do, a swap to an Oilcooled engine is fairly straight-forward, if you have access to a welder. Physically smaller than what you have now, a whole lot lighter, and even more faster Simon did one with an 1100, so 750 will be an easy fit. 1 Quote
MadFred Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Hi! Switch cams want beat a GSX-R right? A 1100r whould be cool to.. I got A TIG AC/DC welder and so on, and I like to fabricate things.. Your first pic rene EFE doesn´t show.. For the moment a build a Harley shovel street/strip bike, so I got some skills, but no pro yet.. ;-) Quote

MadFred Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 I´ll se where Im at when it time to get real with the bike, A turbo might be added to, I know it´s much cheaper to buy one, but whats the fun with that ;-) Im not all new to mechanics, I´ve build some cars and a V8 race engine, and study to engineer. So I will get it together, but Im not specifik good at Japanes Bikes, I have mostly delt with Harleys and Triumphs. But I like all sorts of bike. Oki not GoldWing and such ;-) .. Quote
