1127 Engine advice/tips

Howdy fellas

As you may have seen in my Slabby thread, I'm currently stripping a few engines I got. 

the plan is I want to build a decent motor, which will be fed by 750l 38mm carbs and have a full cobra system. 

So I am looking for any advice or tips or indeed modifications I should be doing whilst I'm in there. 

I have a vast amount of spares now which is at least 4 of everything, but I'm stripping down to measure and check everything before I put one together.

Factory Pro jet kit designed for the 1127 on 38s mine ran well on base settings, the aluminium carb needle holders if you can get some see the sticky thread

Carbs, just get some Dyna 155 main jets, set needles to center groove and set the pilot jet screws to 3.5 turns out  you will be in the ball park and just tweek to your exhaust/end can which will probably be just the needle height 

One other thing I'd look at, is ever get a 4° advancer or (was on here somewhere) slot your atu back plate
