coombehouse Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 I fairly recently downsized the motor on my katana from 1290 to 1168 & not surprisingly, the power is now very top endy, with it feeling a little flat below 6k. I'm thinking of advancing the inlet cam timing a few degrees to see if it pulls it back a little as banging off a 9k rev limiter on a 40 year old bike can't be good. Cams are cam motion G3, efe inlets, o/s exhaust, more compression etc Anyone running a similar motor have any experience of this? Quote

I ran the same with the 1290 bore though obviously the fueling is now different. Edited August 21, 2022 by coombehouse More Quote
