suzukiae50 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 hey, people!I was wondering if I can get some help.. I have an old Suzuki AE50 / Hyper / Hi Up, with a 11 digits frame number on it.. I believe it's a japanese frame number, and I need to discover the model year of the scooter (it's something about 1988 and 1996) but in the frame number, the tenth digit is "7", and in tradicional VIN's it means "2007" and don't make sense hahadoes anybody knows something about it? Gixer1460 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 You are unlikely to get much of a response here - its simply not our thing and the fact that scooters rank even lower than Bandits as desirable, speaks volumes. In the UK you could find most of these (and there like) stolen and dumped in canals. Having a 'Japanese' frame number isn't surprising as they were made, strangely enough, in Japan! 2 Quote
busa1300 Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 No year designation in a home market 11 digit number. Usually have a sticker of some type by headstock that designates year A-B-C and so on L=90 M=91 N=92 Quote
