Does some of the members know a link to a video which shows the replacement of the cam chain of a 1990 gsxr750?

can't say ive ever seen one but im sure someone has done one !!!!  are you sure it needs a new chain ? is the tensioner ok ? do you know the mileage on the engine ?

Hi Tony, the bike has just past the 100000km km and i have screwed the tensioner up too tighten te chain. It does run rather smooth now but given the milage and the handscrewed tensioner i think its time to replace it.

I doubt you'll fine a video specific to your bike but a 'generic one', for a 4 cylinder, centre run STANDARD chain will be enough. A Hyvo chain as fitted to Blandits is slightly different (more fiddly) so best not look at that! It's a relatively simple procedure - I had to do one whilst on a dyno trying to set up some carbs, it took about an hour and a half and a few pairs of hands - two pairs is minimum as peening over the rivet link is a pain on your own!
