Took alot of trial and error but after some research it looks like Suzuki has two main styles of gas cap- 5 bolt and 8 bolt and (thanks to the earlier Hayabusas) our 8 bolt is still supported in the aftermarkent, even though manufacturers rarely acknowledge our old ass bikes...
