B12 Stem into 1100 EZ

So I've bought a YZF front end to go into the EZ that currently has a B12 stem in the yokes, can I use it with just a bearing change or would it be easier to swap the stem for the EZ one?

B12 stem will be too long - so swap stems or modify B12 stem on a lathe.

as pedda said the b12 one is too long, either swop it or modify it.
