Dyna s ignition and which advance unit?

Hi ... been looking for a while and searched but what advance retard unit do I need on a 1100 ef motor when fitting the Dyna S ignition  ? Are only 1100 e/et/Es useable or anything else ? Cheers

An 1100 variant would be best but any of the lower capacity ones will work if they fit (probably will). Timing won't be optimal but they aren't exactly hi tech accurate devices so will be adequate.

I've got a unit off a GS750 on my GSX1100 motor - seems to be work OK and fitted straight on.

et work a treat just make sure you have the matching cover it it won't fit
