Katana shorty rear mudguard

I recently bought a katana gsx1100,  a bit modified , a bit original.

There were a few things that needed addressing,  rear height , wound the yss rear shocks up as high as they would go.

No indicators , a work in progress but getting there.

And stock rear mudguard too long , so rather than chop a 150 quids worth of rear muddie I got my dad to make a fibreglass shorty the same as the jap ones made of cf.

Btw , my dad , now 90 , made parts for Concorde et al at British aerospace for 30 years .

Hope you like.

Yeah too true.  All back together with these neat little wing type led indicators fitted to the front , the front fairing has been painted and filled in.

You gotta be happy with that.  Your old man did a great job on that rear unit.

Yeah , he has made a bonnet and bootlid for my mk2 cortina,  and a  complete one piece tailpiece for my zrx kwak amongst many things in the past.
