Tombola
How much extra do people put into their swim arm? Bike is 750gsxr, I do plan to use it on the road and strip. I was planning on jigging it and then infilling with 80x40mm structural aluminium 6082. im pretty sure the wheel end piece is “spigotted” do people spigot the other end to join it into existing box? I’ll be cutting on the red lines and using a new piece to extend it. Bike will be around the 200hp mark Quote Link to comment
Gixer1460
Virtually no one does it that way! If you do, you are married to the minimum 3" over length. The more usual way iscut the adjuster off and make a new over length one, spigotted into the extg. box section - other advantage only one weld! Quote Link to comment
Tombola
If that’s the way to do it fair enough I’ll do it that way. What sort of extension do you recommend? For road and light strip use? Edited June 2, 2020 by Tombola Quote Link to comment
