Bobby Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Does anyone know if a bandit fork brace/mudguard bracket will fit a 1100 slabby? why i ask is there are some nice aftermarket ones I've seen for the bandit but none for my bike, so wondering if a bandit one will do? cheers Bobby
MadJack Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Bolt hole dims are 165 x 77. Musguard mounts are 100 x 50. I'll be making a 1 off with Yoshimura logo for a Bandit soon, I could alter the dims but it won't be cheap.
Bobby Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Yes I’m interested in that, I can do all the measurements my end. Let me know the details going forward
MadJack Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Like this. The mudgaurd would have to bolt onto a flat surface.
Bobby Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 that looks ideal. Can you PM me with details such a lead time, cost, and wether I need to send across the measurements of my fork fixings. Thanks bobby
MadJack Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 A cardboard template would be ideal. Lead time is I really don't know, I'm doing this as a favour to a mate & it would be just as easy to make 2 as it would be to make 1. Certainly within the next 14days. Cost is : what is it worth to you? Make me an offer, going rate for mass produced items seems to be £50ish.
Bobby Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 Ok Cool. I’ll go and get the measurements and a cardboard cutout over the weekend and get back to you. What’s the thickness of the brace going to be?
Blubber Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 (edited) I am going to keep an eye on this. For now I assume @MadJackis a very helpful newby who has no intention of trading on this site. Whilst traders are welcome on here...they first need to have a word with one of the admins: @banoffee Traders Edited December 13, 2019 by Blubber 1
banoffee Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Locked. Thanks @Blubber. If you want to sell any more you need trader status.
