R1guy
I’ve been in the garage playing with the slabby 750 frame and swapping the 750 swingarm for the 1100. I have a 750 suspension linkage on the 750 arm and an 1100 linkage in the 1100 arm. With the swingarms fully down/dropped I’m getting the following measurements eye-to-eye(centres). •1100 arm is 285mm •750 arm is 300mm. This is contradicting what’s recorded in the vault- I.e. 1100 shock is supposedly 25mm longer than 750. Am I missing something/doing something wrong? dupersunc
The shock mount is higher up on the 1100 frame. Quote Link to comment
R1guy
Just now, dupersunc said: The shock mount is higher up on the 1100 frame. This is the missing piece of the puzzle! Thanks Duncan. /end of thread Quote Link to comment
Racer-X
Would it help you if I told you a 2002 to 2006 900 hornet had a shock length of 285mm AND had an eye fixing at both ends!!! Quote Link to comment
