Gilfi Posted May 7, 2019 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Hey guys, I'm looking at trying to remove the rust from my exhaust (stock 4 into 2) and was wondering about the black chrome. Does anyone have any experience with any rust remover products and how they affect the chrome surface? Is there any product to put on the cleaned surfaces afterwards? I was just going to spray it with some exhaust heat paint. Quote Link to comment

Dezza Posted May 7, 2019 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Use a dulte citric acid solution for rust on chrome. Many youtubes videos on this. Citric acid powder is freely available on ebays as it's a common food additive. Quote Link to comment
