NorthernBloke Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Question time, hoping someone has done his before, I'm sure people have. Anyway been struggling to get me GSX1100ESD running right since I've had it so for the last 2 years, I've given up on the current set of standard carbs and am looking for an easy swap to something newer. I think I've settled on bandit 1200 36 mm cv's, but wanted to know if they will fit my inlet rubbers as my carbs are 34 mm, however measuring the o/d of my current carbs they come in at around 42 mm. Also can anyone confirm that bandits use a push pull throttle? if so then I will need a new throttle / twist grip assembly. If this is the case I might go to a quick action throttle, but would want to keep my standard switch gear, so again is this possible would it ll fit together? Also would standard B12 jetting be in the right ball park for a GSX1100? Quote
jameskat Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 BST36SS (Mk1 bandit 1200) carbs are 42mm o/d and have been fitted to GSX1100 (https://www.theflyingbanana.com/gsxrcarbies.htm). Not sure on the push pull throttle. Quote
