  2. If you've got room il bring the gs again . Still trying to get the paint done
  3. I'm in. And the gs should be looking a bit more finished hopefully
  4. Hopefully try make it next year
  5. Got the tank cleaned inside and looking good. Even the fuel sender came out rust free, need to get a new petrol tap anyone tried a pattern one
  6. I took mine apart as the needle had curled up at the end allowing it to go past the stop pin. I put a jubilee clip round the bezel then put it upside down in some polystyrene insulation, just work your way round the edge with a small screwdriver lifting the edge a bit at a time. You might find it just needs a clean and some light oil , refitting the bezel just work your way round slowly I used a bit of wooden dowel to press it flat. That's where the insulation comes in handy as it holds it in place while your pressing down. Have a go you've nothing to lose if it's not working
  7. Finally got a decent tank. Couple of wee dents to sort and clean the inside before painting
  8. Thanks mate. After the show going to strip the tank and see how bad it is , unless something better turns up il have to get on with it , hoping to have it painted next 4-6 weeks
  9. Got the tail piece fitted and made some brackets for the seat. Once I've sorted the tank or find another one il get it all painted , will be taking it to the Scottish bike show as a ongoing project
