Anyone tried to swap a crankhaft and transmission from 1127 into 1052 gsxr engine?

Yes 1127 crank will go into 1052 cases, if I remember you have to open the cases a little to get the 1127 cylinder to go on.  the last engine I did I used a set of  T pot cases all black and brand new old stock with 1127 crank 1216 pistons  six speed gearbox .

The gearbox output shaft and swingarm pin does not appear to be on a level plane ?. will this not cause problems.

  3. Andy Mcphearsons  bike did go really well but recently had head done by well known specialist , just as head work can give it more power it can also take it away id start there if I was you.

I'm liking the look of this Harris-framed endurance racer from France... although a cheaper option would be to use the bodywork I have, fill in the headlight holes, and go from there.  My goal is to have the bike on track by next spring, if not sooner.  I'm still racing my supertwin EX650 this season.  So why negate all the work I've done to make the bike street legal?  Well, I've already got a street triple 675 for the road, the ex650 racer, and an xt600 cafe bike as well.  Insuring bikes is very expensive, particularly in my province, and we don't have any multi-bike policies available.  I can always return the ex650 to street duty and sell it or the triumph when the time comes...  I'll keep you all updated on this step of my journey!

After competing at the manx gp on and off but more on than off for 30 yrs I made the podium in 2010, it was at this point that I decided that it was time for me to stop racing  the TT course but that didn't mean my bikes had to stop. I am now getting ready for another season of racing 2018 will be my 41st season I will do some short circuits to get the bike working ok for my good friend Dennis Booth to ride again at the pre TT and the classic TT. we would like to do the spa thing but struggle to find any regs.
