  1. As has already been said, a Q plate doesn't have the stigma of 20 years ago and you don't get penalised by insurance, if anything it shows you have done things like right way!!

Remember all insurance companies first thought is how can I get out of paying for this :(

  2. Had my old gs550 done by a local locksmith a few years ago, he made new keys, just took the barrel into him as the numbers were worn,

Just find a good locksmith :)

How about they charge £20 pitch fee's and include 2 free entries? I'm sure pitch holders will also be mooching around for stuff they want, so why not treat as regular punters?

That's what happens at the August autojumble and couple nights camping for free 9_9

no oil or brake fluid will come out of the top part of the antidive (where the hose bolts too) you can take the top part off with hoses still attached as both parts have a seal, it keeps both fluids separate.  ive disconnected the small hose from the calliper on mine and just put a plastic plug in for now just to keep the crap out.

Lucky guess from me then (y)

I have used this stuff many times but thinned it & spayed on with a spray gun. It's very good, fuel & heat resistant & a satin finish. Almost no gloss at all.

Yeah Granville is good stuff, though have always brushed it on (good quality brush)

Definitely going to be trying the spray gun route though next time (y)
