yep. My mistake Graham..

other option given the cost of exhausts is to go to race craft (I think that is the name) and have a custom one made. When risk had his made I do not think it was much more than an aftermarket and was stainless to boot!

v&h do a street system that was based on the original drag use pipe. they are road legal and look good as well.
They also sound lovely with a deep tone. I had one years ago on a (non suzuki) and it performed well.

if the tank cover turns out broken at some point while taking a rest somewhere grassy... do note that tony (cosmo) was knocking up some carbon fibre tank covers for slabbies at cheapo prices.

On the slabby track bike I'm (very slowly ) building I started with a slingshot front end and B12 wheels. I have since decided I want to stay RWU so I have a ZX6R RWU fromt end. It's a chunky little fucker with adjustable preload and damping so it should work a treat and I think it looks better. Same 90mm hole spacing for the nissin calipers I have too. The main reason though (thanks for the tip @Leblowski ) is the weight difference of the ZX6R wheels they feel half the weight of the B12 wheels which I hope will make all the difference if it ever makes it to a track.
I do have a set of RWU zx9r forks here and a set of zzr1100 ones. both are lighter than USD and shorter. ZZR are free if you want them although you pay post bud. Cheap is the key!

zx6r range of forks are usually pretty short and often cheaper as nobody building suzukis want them.....

great weekend and a great result.
I think it had alot to do with the lack of the usual autodismantle you usually experience.
That and your lucky charms came this year eh

Mark, it is your fairing! As to what it looks like now god only knows. It went off for paint with the seat and tank well over a year ago and is still not back. I use Simon at Flying Tiger for paint and the guy is a perfectionist but painfully slow. He told me it took a lot to repair historical repairs. He promised me it was going to all finished for Christmas but didn't say what year. I chased him a couple of weeks ago and he told me he just needed to apply graphics and lacquer so hopefully not too much longer. I'm not chasing him as I'm broke and if he is finished he'll want paying. He's also got my Lawson and Moto Martin so god knows when I'll see them back.
only broke because you have been paying for ELO tickets

I thought on an efe the markings were on a backplate. Mine is missing typically so positive stop tool it is. What should static timing be advance btw? If no answer then manual it is to search

You could try using Engineers Blue. Its a blue dyed grease stuff. Put a very thin smear on the crank taper (thin as so you can barely see it) & then put the rotor on & turn it slightly. When you take the rotor off the contact point will not have any blue on it. You use the same stuff for checking valve seats after cutting. Get it from engineering supplies or Eblag.
cheap equivalent is a permanent marker pen or a whiteboard pen. Both work the same and save some faffing about. I nick them off my old lady....
