The seat panel fitting have been chopped of the tank so looks like I'm keeping as it is, the rear light is some 1990 m&p special so looking at rear light options, does the original rear light mount direct to the frame with the bracket or does it fit to the undertray? Thanks

By the looks of things the previous owner took it for an Mot, it failed and by the time he sorted the bits it failed on there was a running issue, took the carbs off and was left sitting. My plan are to repaint it and carbs are currently sat stripped awaiting new seals and a good clean

I'd be interested in the 750 airbox

Yup all bolted on, I'm in two minds to just respray or replace the tank and seat panels for standard, guess I'll get it running first see how it runs on the individual filters

Just picked up a streetfightered 750j as a little bit of a project it's fitted with fibreglass seat unit and GSXR1000 front end
Will a GSXR1000 rear wheel fit rather than having mismatched wheels
Does the subframe look like it would accept original panels
Does the battery look like it would be in the way of refitting the original air box?

Blubber Vaguely remember it on here but couldn't find it in projects ,definitely don't want to be widening the frame so that one is a definate no
Jonny definitely staying twin shock was planning on welding on twin shock mounts,I like the ZRX arm but they are scarce and usually expensive, apparently a Zephyr 550 swongarm is a straight swap?

Do the GS 550, 750 850, & 1000 all have the same rear mudguard as they look very simular, if so would it be possible to use a 850 rear light and maybe trim the seat panel to suit the light?

You could also lace on new rims to take better tyres, obviously depends on budget
That's definitely something I will look at as getting tyres for the 750EF was a nightmare

Just picked up this GS750. Plans are to chop off the subframe and stick a brown seat on it. . . . Not!
Will be keeping it relatively standard apart from a B12 swingarm and possibly a front brake upgrade,so have a couple of questions please guys
is it possible to keep the standard wheels with a B12 swingarm?
Any calipers that are a simple swap for the front end?

B12 Fits but was a little low to the ground

GSX750F Exhaut fits

All sorted with a simple idle adjustment thanks guys

Recently stripped, cleaned and refitted the carbs, after 5 seconds the revs rise to 4.5k no issue with cables and choke is fully closed, stripped and swapped over the diaphragms and main jets.Does anyone have a picture of where the hoses go or could I be missing something else?
Thanks

What have people done for the lockstops when fitting GSXR1000 front end on a Slingshot? Recent project I purchased has the front end fitted but locks tops are non existant
