You can not find true tdc with a m14 bolt. Look at this clip. Setup a degree wheel and do your timing =)

Fit a wheel to the crankshaft. Use a TDC tool. You need to rev it proper too see that the timing do what you want

With a fresh battery, you should be above 14v when the engine is running. When I look back in logs, the voltage is around 14.3 - 14.4v. (Bandit generator)
