Please excuse my naivety but if the stem height is incorrect is it just a case of buying one the correct length? How do you determine what to order? Or do you have a custom one made?
Does anyone know if a gsxr 1000 k4 swingarm will fit straight in as a replacement for my standard arm? I know the shock mounts would have to be played around with
Right so ive been removing the engine and thought wtf the threaded bar that sits through the front of the engine is fugly, does it really need to be that long and if yes then why? Oh and where can I get a new one as its f☆☆ked
Too late to start it now as all the wiring loom is now removed plus when I took the carbs off they had a thick white coat of smeg in the bottom Just need a chain splitter and then I can drop the engine out
Just a question before I disconnect everything, The engine hasn,t run for at least 3 years, ive had it turning over this morning so I know its free but would you want to hear it running 1st before going ahead and and removing it??
1st stumbling block, put a battery on to ensure all the electrics work before stripdown which they do, checked engine turns over which it does, do all the gears engage No, I have 1,2,3 and no 4 or 5 and the spare won't come out of 1st, umph
I haven't actually got the bike yet so I'm unable to see how or what's needed to Jack the back end up, unable to find any kits online, can anyone shed some light on this for me please
