  1. Been a while since an update, so here's one. not much has happened really, just bought a few bits for it. finally found an S&S Super E. got an inlet adapter made for it and got a sexy bellmouth for it too. thanks @Fastbyme. sent the exhaust of to be polished, i had the down pipes and connector pipe done in a "factory finish", and the exit pipe mirror polished, came out very nice i reckon.
  2. yeah, me too. we always like pictures...
  3. you could always send it to a polishers?. if you look for marks mirror polishing on facebook, he does a almost factory finish buff. it sort of looks like a scotchbrite finish but does look good. i am not promoting him, its just i will be sending my exhaust off to him cos he does a bloody good job!. its just a suggestion...
  4. looks pretty cool bud. love the exhaust exit!
  5. that looks very niiiiice.... what happened to the spoked wheels you had?
  6. i know its probably thought of this, but is the air filter big enough? as in is there enough flow?. i only say that cos on a N/A engine if the air filter is to blocked or too small they dont like it.
  7. thanks dave!... i think. well, i am not really sure if that a complement or a diss! hahahhaaaaa
  8. @Gixer1460 does the carb need to be a S&S shorty E?, i might be able to get my hands on a S&S super D. would that be ok or is it better to use the shorty E? cheers

  14. Hello all... So i am the new owner of this little beauty! I am going to give a good dose of luvvin'. So the first job is to fit the carb, HSR42. The problem being that this carb is larger than the original, therefore will not go in t' space!. So this is an issue! The idea i am thinking about is spacing the carb away from the turbo intake, and what i would like to know is, is there a maximum distance that the carb can be spaced away?. Or any other good idead will be appreciated... Cheers Jason Ok so just tried to get pics from my phone and wont do it. Will add some pics when i get back
