    Chief

when you was running a R6 battery did you have any problems with cranking amps ,

The R6 gel battery fits my limited lay flat position for a B12 motor

    cheers Nick

  2. No issues with Esso high octane in the East , modern Suzuki with injectors

I need to get some ethanol friendly Carb internals and fuel tap fuel line as the old boiler won’t move as often as the modern beastie just a fuel stabiliser added incase I ever get caught out with standard piss pump juice

Going to stick with the inazuma carbs, I know they a 32mm but trying to find out the size of the air inlet side, heard 42-48 also heard 50. Looks like I may have to remove before ordering pods.

I have some brand new pods fitted I fitted to to them 32 mm carbs

I also have the boots which are hard to get hold of ,

And the carbs and cables ,sitting in a box

  4. I had one in a slingshot, low down grunt was surprisingly perky , mid range through the twisty lanes was easy  and enjoyable ,

But On a straight it felt like a GS500  when    by modern machines to the point I just wouldn’t bother going fast on straights disappointing  no top end rush on them cams , having lived there before and the route I ended up going , if I had another F motor it would only be on the agreement with myself to have another wizzy pop usable road motor , my old engine is sadly sold

They do work ok when looked after, but no better than the 4 pots which take far less maintenance to keep that way, and they bleed up way easier.

Best upgrade is the tokico 4 pots off early s-rad 600 and Tl1000s they perform a bit better than 4 pot nissins.

Zx7rr nissin 6 pots are the real ones to have but are rocking horse poo.

Mv f4 calipers are the same nissin 6 pots but they are a wierd bolt spacing and dont fit.

I find harrision billets are ok but more a bling caliper than performance

Pfm 6 pots are awesome with the matching discs

Any caliper fully working with good discs, braided lines and quality pads should be more than up to the job of stopping well.

A radial master cylinder is avout the best mod you can make to a brake system, feel and control is so much better.

Thats what i have found anyway :-)

Radial Brembo disc -caliper -MC are the best brakes I’ve ever used absolutely awesome

  6. I ran a Pringle tap with  with a thicker diameter rubber spacer at the rear of the tank until it started leaking ,  binned it and went to a pipe straight out the tank with an inline fuel  tap , no future fuel starvation issues  pending any planned engine work

    ( wizzy pop )

now running similar set up on current build ,
