Strange, engine numbers don't look like they've been tampered with, and it's only got 5 gears

I,m wanting to build a decent engine for my next project, i,ve got a bandit 12 a gsxr 11, i dont know what model the 11 came out of, and a dot head, i want to go down the route of wisico pistons, fast road cams and maybe fcr,s, so given the choice would you use the 11 or the 12,

I,ve been lucky, i,ve been given a complete dot head engine, so i dont mind paying for some cams

Given the choice what cams would i use with the dot head, just fast road cams nothing over the top, 750 1100 or 12,s

Is a 750 dot head a straight fit onto a 1200 bandit lump, getting a frame built so got plenty time to do an engine, dont want mega hp, but was looking at fast road cams and fcr,s, for the moment

Getting new rims laced to the hubs sounds like a plan, what rims are you using

Anyone put 17inch wheels into a dr800, if so what wheels did you use?

I've a fighterd r. cracking fun.rides like a super moto.only issues with mine is tank slappers.got a steering damper.new bearings etc and it still does it.apart from that no issues.decent fuel return riding steady.drinks like an alky when pushed.

Anyone have a wiring diagrham for removing side stand switch,clutch switch,diode etc on a mk 1, Did it once before and sure you need a bipass wire in the CDI or something like that

That's as it stands to nite. body work is in process of being painted black.except for seat unit.that's getting something different airbrushed on it. Damoto cans got replaced.lost to much power.sounded nice but not a deep grunty sound that I wanted.It's not going to be every ones cup of tea.but it's mine.
