  1. Very interested in this job as I'm getting a cracking sound on starting, more often than not, Which I think is the bike telling me the starter clutch is about to go . Will need to change it . So as much info as you can, as working on engines has always lead to disaster .
  2. I fitted a 6 Sigma jet kit to my 1200 its fine, sent info on pipe and air filter style, sent through pilots and mains and washers to lift the needles so far all good.
  3. As 1460 says swap plugs and HT leads if the problem moves change offending item . Happened to me twice last month, First time took ages to diagnose going mental changin carbs etc had spark but couldn't have been strong enough it was the plug . Second time fixed in 5 minutes . Good Luck!
  4. Thanks . Still got some wee things to change . It's a complete one-piece Mizuno motors xess hand bent exhaust from webike .
  5. Had to swap the seat out for MoT All went well (exhaust got a glaring look) but a pass is a pass .
  6. Been a while but Just got big things out the way on the bike upgrade, will need some fine tuning but lovely weather just couldn't resist a wee run out .
  7. Thanks for the comments, your Not a fan of the Ice Cream Van, I quite like it, should keep wind blast down abit the forks aren't getting fitted too much work, just want it finished . Should have it together soon then just make it look pretty .
  8. Awaiting front fork parts on Monday, then, some bits and pieces to fit, should be finished for next weekend fingers crossed .
  9. It's a complete front end off a Trumpet Trick Shop R
  10. Mmmm......! And that would be?
  11. Cleaned out shed and gave these a test fit, not really liking them, and will need a fair bit of work to get right, but it keeps me busy .
  12. The biggest concern is the lack of front brake .
  13. Been trying to fit a fairing on the zuma, and seem to have got it some way sorted . OE Indicator stems are too short so tried some old skool ones . Also done some styling .
  14. what like the first picture where the fuel rail is below the carbs float bowls . If this is not the case, what would you suggest the reason they fitted a fuel pump on the zuma 1200, too many fuel pump in the stores, and there was a stock check coming up? Perhaps . Who knows ! ⛽
  15. For a gravity fed system that has to make a rise it will all be about pressure, a 2 meter drop from tank to out put will give you a pressure of 0.2 bar, around 2.9 psi so 300mm will give you 0.03 bar around 0.04 psi which i Would imagine why the fitted a pump .
  16. Cheers for the link All good stuff will bypass pump and fit the Fazer tap to see how many liters I have left in the tank, and I'll take it from there . Könnten Sie Mir bitte eine Link zu einer Kopie Des Handbuchs schicken? Regards Gary Ah see the problem now the carbs are fed from below (see pic) When you lift the rail I don't clear intake (see pic) So would have to split carbs and replace fuel T pieces
  17. Have just turned my attention to this project and with all these things I just pull them apart and put back just the things It needs or I like . And the fuel pump I can't see the benefit, have the gsf model got them The tap is above the carb level was going to junk the pump and fit a pingle I read the Mk1 gsf one fits
  18. Hi all, Have found a fuel pump on my 1200 Inazuma . Question is can it be removed and a gravity fed pingle set up be used ?
  19. Hi looking for an alternative for a slabby GsXR rear bulb holder, will say an RF 600 fit etc Had a look at Gsxr 600 K1 bulb holder look a good match, @ £15 it a bit of a punt. Any pointers in the right direction would be great G.
  20. I have entered into negotiations for a gsx swingarm, I would hope to secure it for less than, £ 60.00 is this too optimistic?
  21. Seen a few GsX1100 et swingarms, It has twin shock mounts I take it it will be the same dimensions, any idea about shock angle? will this be badly effected IE shocks lying down too much, and width at rear axel as if I go with my wheel choices it not going that fat a rear tyre approx 120 section. G.
  22. Will, definitely keep this in mind.
  23. Cheers, but need to make top hats then cut off the dog bone thingy, then get shock mounts welded on, for me I would need a lathe, and a welder, of which I need both, so would have to pay someone to do it for me, which I would think is expensive, as I don't know anyone in the trade. And still end up with a steel swingarm, just a different shape. G.
