And wear, chrome being harder than steel.

All true if they were actually chrome bores . . . . . which they aren't! The Busa block is all aluminium, no steel liners, and uses Nikasil coating - Nickel Silicon Carbide, harder than Chrome and plated onto Aluminium allows tighter piston to bore clearances and better heat transfer.

EDIT Suzuki actually use a patented coating SCEM ( Suzuki Composite Electro-Chemical Material) which uses Nickel Phosphorus Silicon Carbide.

Yes indeed there are nikasil but I was splitting his balls over calling them chrome

Might be tricky running a Motec dash without a Motec ECU to drive it ? Lose the tractor carb, fit a big throttle body, add some big injectors into the plenum then fit a Motec ECU - welcome to the 21st

Ran a motec dash on a 600 bsb superstocker in 2012 so it must be possible

  3. Last little push before winter months subframe made to accommodate RGV seat everything fitted to work as it should seat properly hooks I n at front and rear seat uses OEM seat lock etc battery box will go under seat but we need to make exhaust first then that will dictate what room we have.

large oil cooler mounted nice 410 wide fits frame better than gsxr sized ones at 235.

Headlights and head cooler mount with space left to mount a dash once I decide on what I like thinking motec maybe?

next decision is how to final trim panels near frame????

A few wee trinkets for it's up coming 30th Birthday :D. I might finally get round to fitting the Ignitech ignition to go with them, I've had in a box for ages. My bad.
