It begins with e and ends with bay , there's a guy on there who does the whole storage wars type thing and buys up lots of unclaimed customs stuff

Well when I say £50, it was actually £51 and £40 for it to be palleted up and delivered

It was bought from a customs auction as a lost parcel, presumably they wouldn't sell it on if it was stolen

When you say check the engine number, it's not been ground off if that's what you mean

Whipped the sump off today, spotless inside, nothing in the oil strainer and what little oil that was left in it looked good, no swarf, or metallic shimmer and as far as I could see with a torch everything looks in good shape

I've got a sump gasket kicking around so wouldn't hurt to have a look

I got hold of a very cheap MK2 1200 bandit engine no info or knowledge about mileage, it looks like it's been used as a boat anchor but was only £50 so worth a shot, it turns over by hand, has compression, selects all gears and the cams have very little wear, so would you fire it up and see what happens or have a look inside just incase?

Have you tried pushing it forwards a bit like you have to do with worn Suzuki ignition switches ?

My old man's got 2 of them one has over 100k on the clock and I've got a powerscreen motor in my HUC wormburner
