  1. I am looking for guidance from anyone who has applied six-piston calipers onto an EFE front end. I'm not changing forks; I want more swept caliper area. I am also thinking of trying Pretech calipers as well, though I have no problem with Suzuki 6's of they are compatible with the EFE thickness rotors. Anyone got info and/or experience?
  2. Please, can someone help here? Please? I've looked everywhere I can and I can't find the torque chart. Surely someone has it....?
  3. Can someone help me? I lost my bolt torque chart for my '85 GS1150 and I can't find another copy on line or anywhere else. Could someone supply me with a new chart or a link to said chart?
  4. Or 11-18.5 ft/lb. Thanks! By the way, anyone still got access to the master sheet of GS1150 bolt torques for the whole bike?

My 1150 box went out on me back some years ago...managed to get it 90 miles on 2 cylinders...rode it into the dealers...they could (1) order me a new one ($500) or (2) put in one they just had laying around. I chose (2).I am still running the same box. Runs fine. YMMV.
  6. I have lost my GS1150 torque chart...can someone tell me what the torque is on the disc bolts?
  7. Never one to let a good joke go flat, I'd like to thank all who responded to my post on SBS Low friction rear brake pads. Especially since I take those who missed the joking tone I took (and reposted plainly for those who STILL didn't get it) no more seriously than I take myself, which is to say not very. That said, here's a quote from SBS: "these special sintered rear brake pads are equipped with a friction level that has been adjusted to avoid excessive braking and lock up of the rear wheel and are matched to the SBS front sintered brake pads for safety and performanceISo the only part I wasn't joking about was this product which I have used on my GS1150, '83 Katana, '98 TL-R and '86 GSXR1100. They really work quite well, but apparently SBS no longer make them - but I am sure a niche product like this is still out there somewhere awaiting use. Anyone got a handle on where I could get a set for the mighty GS1150 rear caliper?
