Well it looks like unladen, and shock length is 325mm so can't you work enough out from there?
Before I weld the upper and lower suspension brackets onto the frame...... ( 83' katana 11 ).....the dimensions a/b/c from the above diagram are needed..... so... no , not just the shock length .

come on now....one of you lot can run out to the shed....lay down on the cold floor with a tape measure .....grab a few dimensions .....pass on the info for generations to come.... and go to bed knowing the world is a better place for doing so .

I am fitting the complete suspension off a k5 gsxr 1000 onto my 83' kat 1100 . I have already widened the frame to accept the 6" wheel while keeping the chain run free and clear of the tire and inner frame rails . The swingarm spindles of the k5 and onwards use a 28x1.5 mm theead . I machined new frame inserts to suit the larger pivot bolt . I want the option of having the 20 mm pivot shaft as well..... funny thing is I have binned quite a few of those locknut thingies over the years and now I could sure use one ! ..... or at least the thread size so I can make one.

Give them a hint - ie what's it off?
Its off a slingy frame .... it is that thingy that goes on the pivot shaft for the swingarm .

Odd thing happened while tearing down a b12 motor that has never been openened since 98'..... while cleaning the oil off the sleeves ( cylinder in hand ). I noticed the #1 sleeve was loose...... I was able to apply some force to it and remove the sleeve from the block by hand ..... anyone see or heard of this before ?

Hi Marco , seems the old crowd are finding there way back..... nice to see the ol' GS is still around ! mine have all since vanished ...... but there has been a recent acquisition in the TC household.....in the form of an 1983 katana 1100 . project will commence soon !
