  1. Yes I know only one I could find!
  2. Hello all could I have a little help with my oil feeds please? i have a gsx1100f engine which I assume is the same as the gsxr lump, I see people take their oil feed from the cam gallery is that correct? I don't really want to spend a fortune on a billet crossover bar what other options do I have? regards to oil return it's a td04 turbo which recommends a -10 hose, seeing as I'm running one of them facet pumps like most to scavenge there no way that's possible. I take it no one had any issues?
  3. if the the rings cracked/fractured or failed after a little while, I'd say putting new ones on would be the better option in my opinion.
  4. Per engine I would of said, I personally wouldnt re use a set of rings, well unless times where hard lol
  5. Are yours adjustable? I did get a adjustable one as I felt it would be beneficial later down the line!
  6. You have two ports for hoses, Im guessing the bottom is the pressure in to move the valve, What's the top for?
  7. Nice work chap yours look the same as mine, did you get any instructions with yours?
  8. This is the same size port as the internal one, bloody heavy I'm guessing you must have to brace the stabbing off the manifold or tie it off to the frame?
  9. Cheers for the reply, Mine does have an internal wastegate, I'm guessing I just have to weld it up solid? Regards to the pipe coming from the external wastegate does it have to join up with the exhaust?
  10. As the title why are people using them over the ordinary wastegate that comes with said turbo? Probably a silly question, but I'm now about to off send my manifold to be bead blasted and I haven't given much thought to it!
  11. http://www.aemintakes.com/temperature_testing.htm im sure I just watched a program on the effects of a intake temp on hp buggered if I can remember where! It might of even been in guy martins 2nd autobiography I've been reading??
  12. Do you need to turn the fuel pump off? If you have a malpassi regulator doesn't it just take it back to the tank?
  13. I say that to myself when I leave my lunch/keys/wallet/phone behind when I go to work lol
  14. I'm not that disciplined to do that unfortunately
  15. Ordered one, I want a electric one as I've got a 12v delay off timer to fit to stop the smoke on start up. £2 delivered?!
  16. These facet solid state pumps how do they work? And not saying yours doesn't work, but how does it handle the heat?
  17. Depends on the motor, I have a 17.5hp with a thrown rod which is pressure lubricated.
  18. was it a email request as I did look earlier and couldn't see one on the website? I have a old Briggs engine in the yard, might not be hard to adapt.. Depends on how much the nlr one is vs how much time spent adapting one for lawnmower.
  19. Where did you get it from chap? now why the chuff couldn't I find that with the search!? Cheers anyway I'll defo look into this as that electric pump now has another use.
  20. What stock motor oil pumps are a good one to adapt? I
  21. I've been gathering bits for my tubby GSX, i take it your talking about the cheap Bosch alternative on ehay? How many amps do they pull at flc??
  22. It does look a large alternator, and it is a F so might be alright.
  23. I would of thought so, though I haven't looked to see how many amps the alternator puts out. That oil pump wouldn't put out its FLC as it wouldn't be working that hard, I would of thought it would of been more the fuel pump as your restricting it down so much
  24. I would call this huge for a bike! It doesn't matter as I do have another use for it but I must admit I did think it would be alot smaller
  25. No one uses a electric pump then? These small gear pumps where do you get them from? Are you using a very small hydraulic pump?
