the best fuel too use is super unleaded as stated above it doesnt have ethanol in , i have been saying for the last few years any carb bikes need to be run on super unleaded as it doesnt gum up the carbs , the normal unleaded fuel breaks down in 4-6 weeks so if your not using your carb equiped bike problems will occur

i collected this esd 1100 , it has had a gs 1000 motor slotted in so had it running at weekend , the motor and carbs may be removed and move the rest on

i should just say all the original harris parts are going to be boxed and saved as these are not easy too find

the gs 750 donor bike was purchased , buy the previous owner at the same time as the magnum 2 as it was a running bike . its been stood since 2010.

this was when the gentleman had purchased it a few years ago .

ok story started at xmas as i collected the harris magnum 2 from scotland , after buying it and it was period correct all the right bits , i decided to do that as a honest re fresh not a nut and bolt restoration .my plans have not changed and that build will get updated soon hopefully . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so on to thiis one , had pictures emailed too me

The frame was made for a gs750 . Rare as but i scored a gs1000 motor and carbs so as i am in two minds .

Will add pics when on pc Got offered a project from a member of the owners club so i will be picture heavy when on pc . Idea is no frame mods but modern front and rear radial brakes . Modern wheels . Old skool paint scheme but with a modern colours

hi rene , getting the bike later its an efe with wp swingarm thats why i am trying too do home work before hand , i have a gsxr n swingarm too collect then get dragslots and under braced busy in the wrong time of year

i cant remember what slingy swingarm has the same suspension points as a slingy wp arm , as i want too remove a wp swingarm in a project , and get a slingy swingarm fitted with drag slots
