  1. I'm watching this as I have the same problem.  I've seen rolls of o ring rubber for sale ,  though I'm not sure how well the joint would stand up to petrol. Have you a link to the Chinese supplier?

  2. I need to rebuild the carbs on my slabby. I'm probably going to bore it out to 771, so I thought that bigger carbs might be an idea. I want to keep the airbox so I though boring out the originals  might be the solution.

So is it worth it and how much of a ball ache is setting them up?

    Thanks

  3. I've decided to keep the original forks and wheels on my slabby, purely for looks. What springs do people recommend to replace the tired old springs? Are cartridge emulators worth the hassle?

Also I've decided to do an R6 shock conversion. As any secondhand ones will be a bit worn out, can anyone recommend someone to do a rebuild?

    Thanks

  4. hijack here but I think Lammy is asking the same question I have. There are a plethora of seals and gaskets out there but which are any good? I suspect a lot on a well known internet auction site may be crap.

    Cash is always the issue

  5. Now before anyone goes off on one I realise this has been done to death. I have used the search but still have a few questions (and a pain in my head). So, I want to keep the rwu look so a complete slingy  front end seems the way to go. But I did read that a bandit 600 front wheel will fit the slabbie forks ( maybe with a bearing Change) without machining. Is this correct?  And will I be able to retain the slabbie speedo drive discs and calipers?

    Thanks
