1981 250 rotor upgrade

I'm looking to improve my 1981 GSX 250's stopping power and see that 1000's of the same year came with drilled discs which look otherwise identical (mine aren't drilled).

Does anyone know whether the 1000 drilled versions do fit?

Drilled discs can improve cooling but not actual stopping power. Better off changing the caliper for four pot and an adaptor plate.
