E T Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 I got this 750m last year, but its one of those bikes thats just one problem after another, rather than it become a money pit i think i'll brake it. The motor is ok so i was thinking about putting it in a 750g i got as a project with a suspect motor, also swap front end. So was wondering what if any problems i might have, i can't see cable clutch being a problem but not so sure about there being enough room for cv carbs and will they fit slabby air box. Any info appreciated Quote
dupersunc Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Motor is a straight bolt in, except the crank pick ups if you are using the slabbie loom. Carbs will fit no trouble, but I don't think you'll be able to use the slabbie airbox with out some modification. Quote
E T Posted May 8, 2018 Author Posted May 8, 2018 Thanks for reply, I have the vm29s from the G motor but not sure what condition they're in. The M motor runs fine as it is so will prob just modify the air box. (Why aren't all air boxs like the slingshot air box, makes getting carbs off so easy ) Next question is will the M oil cooler fit the slabby ? Quote
dupersunc Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Oil cooler doesn't bolt straight on, you'll need to fab up some brackets Quote
