CockneyRick Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) Rather than have a spacer made, would any of you consider a bearing to fit behind the sprocket & again'st the drive shaft spacer? I have one here 25x37x7 that will be perfect size wise & could save me having one made. Normally i wouldn't dare, but it will be trapped between the parts with no lateral movement & the shaft rotating in the bearing, which it does in the shaft spacer anyway! Part No's 42 & 43 on this 1127 lump Edited March 19, 2018 by CockneyRick Quote
Lachie04 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Sounds a bit bulky when I spaced my 89 750 out I just used a couple of washers from the local hardware but as long as it doesn't counter wear on something you probably could. I've gone better than that now by using this sprocket and surface grinding the small side down which can give you up to additional 8 mm spacing but that probably wouldn't work for you as I am running a 525 chain PS it's off a ZX-6 95-97 Quote
