Afternoon, looking at my newly acquired bike, I cannot see any pipes attached to what I think are the breathers.

I've circled what I believe to be points where breather pipes should attach, could someone confirm I'm right please.

Where do the pipes route to, just the atmosphere or should a single pipe join both points please ? Do I even need a pipe attached to these points ?

Thanks

Not to familiar with Jap market GSX 250 but the top picture is the head breather, but bottom picture - not known as the bigger family do not have crankcase breathers at all, let alone in that location! The head should have a hose that vents into the airbox in front of the carbs so fumes are drawn into the motor to be burnt.

That's sorted that then, thanks. Still getting familiar with the bike and our pit bike does have a crank case breather in this area.

And the head breather : the bike has pod filters which explains the lack of a tube.

Thanks again !
