Damienga15de Posted August 3, 2017 Author Posted August 3, 2017 Drain holes are clear , blasted some contact cleaner through to be sure. Lifted the tank and fillEd the green connector and the coil connections with vase line, the coil connections were hanging whereally steam off the manifold could reach so I moved them back cable ties to the air duct now well out of the way . Hopefully it won't reoccur 1 Quote
Sheep Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 It happened after rain....could it be a poor seal around the petrol filler cap??...This would also cause problems when the bike is dry as it's already in the tank.....or perhaps its carb related and just a coincidence that it started when it was raining !!....not wanting to compound your problems Quote
Damienga15de Posted August 4, 2017 Author Posted August 4, 2017 10 minutes out in rain today without issue , hopefully something solved it . Headstock bearings and a carb balance in the morning ready to head to the Ulster gp then Quote
Damienga15de Posted August 13, 2017 Author Posted August 13, 2017 Got a good soaking friday at the ulster gp, done 3 laps of the circuit in the wet no issues. Happy out now 1 Quote
