oldszinio Posted April 8, 2017 Share Posted April 8, 2017 I'm looking or in the process of turning my bandit from a half faired to a naked. the advice I'm after is, if I want to put k&n air filters onto my bandit (mk2 1200s) do I need to fit a jet kit for it? and what do you do with the breather pipes on the air box from engine? do I blank them and fit a crank breather? any advice would be welcome thank you andy Quote Link to comment
Gixer1460 Posted April 8, 2017 Share Posted April 8, 2017 Why not keep the airbox and fit a K&N in that? With a few additional holes to aid airflow it'll work good even to fairly high power levels. A M8 has this set up on a 1216 bandit with RS36's fitted - pulls from nothing, flattest torque curve you could want and 156hp at the top end - not too shabby! 2 Quote Link to comment
