kenty Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 i posted this on the old site i seem to remember , anyway a long time ago i made a silicone mould of the sidepanel inserts and the moulds turned up a couple of days ago when i tidied the mancave again ....... so ,seeing as id offered @Rene EFE an insert for his bike i thought id better make sure i had one spare . these are made of two pack liquid plastic and look just like the originals , ok they have to be held in with a dab of silicone / glue , but what do you want for bugger all ...... pics ........... cus we like pics .the moulds are getting a bit battered around the edges so i might chuck em after ive made a few spares .. the liquid starts off as a kind of milky yellow but as it dries it goes white . kenty Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 this was a quick job so i wasn't too bothered about any overspill . its easy to trim when its dry , that takes about 15 mins on a warm day . Quote
kenty Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 quick trim with a pair of tin snips and a test fit in the panel . 3 Quote
kenty Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 and finally a quick blast with a rattle can and there you have it ... easy when you know how ............... if i can find the other side mould ill knock a few out and if anyone needs any get in touch ,,,,, Quote
