am I right In thinking slingshot tanks are all roughly the same and interchangeable? 1100 ones have the fuel light sensor but would still fit ?

Same physical dimensions between the 750 and 1100 tanks. The fuel tap is mounted a little more forward on the 750 tanks and can fowl the corner of the rocker cover on an 1100. A pingle tap might be a little slimmer and give a little more clearance.

But if it's an 1100 tank on a 750, you should be okay.

super job thanks . The tank on the bike is in good nick apart from a dent to the right of the filler cap that's going to awkward to repair . Only tanks I can find for sensible money are 1100 ones .
