markfoggy Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Oh, that looks like the front sprocket is in a good positon. Looks to me though that the shock top mount needs to be a lot further forward, bell crank would be a lot more effective. 1 Quote
grebo Posted March 25, 2017 Author Posted March 25, 2017 (edited) It now goes boing. Moved the top mount hole forward 18mm ish good call Markfoggy. Cheers Now it's together I can already see a few refinements that will tidy it up a lot. Edited March 25, 2017 by grebo Quote
grebo Posted March 25, 2017 Author Posted March 25, 2017 Be a long time before I get on to Brakes but thanks for your lack of interest Quote
dupersunc Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Sorry my post was flippant. I'll be more straight. You have one of the nicest after market frames produced for oss bikes, and you are turning it into a pigs ear. Go and do some reading, or find a friendly knowledgeable person who has understanding of basic engineering principles and motorcycle design. You're currently creating something unrideable. Sorry that I'm being an arse. 1 Quote
grebo Posted March 25, 2017 Author Posted March 25, 2017 (edited) Have you read the whole thing or just dropped in .You do know I'm just defining positions by using scrap so I can develop prototype and finished components . All I have done is found out where things should be in a practical shed built way. I have very little time and even less money due to running an engineering business however I may have more time on my hands as my reputation is in tatters. LOL . Its them brackets init PMSL Edited March 25, 2017 by grebo addition to text Quote
