Looking for ignition system upgrades and I'm wanting to know if anyone has used a dynatek system on a gsx750es and is it difficult to set up and is it worth the money

Dyna S does away with the standard CDI box, needs all the parts to work (backplate and rotor etc)...fairly easy to set up and instructions are available on Dynateks website if you are buying used.

I have used them on GS1000s and they work but that's about all I can say about them, not great, but not bad either.

Dyna coils don't like being left switched on without running, they get hot and crack.

unless youre embarking on a lot of tuning, theres not really a great deal wrong with the stock ignition, there are plenty of them kicking about and theyre cheap enough.

I'm doing away with the stock loom as it's seen better days so whilst on with that the ignition system may as well be upgraded to electronic, even though I don't intend on doing any tuning the upgrade is surely better than stock

I don't dispute the amount of wires, nowhere have I mentioned about reducing the number of wires I'm asking about upgrading the ignition system!

I didn't mean that - you are replacing the loom and the ignition with another loom and ignition that are potentially exactly the same! and IMO aftermarket isn't as good as OEM if kept stock as the timing isn't optimised - if the set up changes then its a different matter.
