spiderpig Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Have gsxr head gone onto the b12, fitting gsxf 11 cams. Soooo, timing marks lined up, 24 pins between... Torque everything down, fit the cam chain tensioner, clicks in... Go to turn the motor, the crank turns, tensioner takes up more slack and now my timing marks don't line up What am I missing here??? fatblokeonbandit Posted November 15 Posted November 15 you need to pull the front of the chain up tight before fitting the exhaust cam and lining that up first at least now you can see how many teeth you are out and just move the chain amount 1 Quote

Looked like I was 1 tooth out so was gona move the sprocket... So I stripped to redo, the chain hopped off the sprocket, had to reset it, rebuilt... THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED Third time was a charm lol Know the fucker inside out now 1 Quote
