Jackzx10
So the original carbs were fooked ..I think I followed a hint on the web that later GSX750F carbs mikuni bst 36 could do the job..so I fitted them and it runs ..good stuff..will be running Ramair filters and it will be going on the dyno for set up. BUT..because the float bowls sit at the wrong angle Im wondering if this might bugger things up ??? Anyone have any experience Thanks for your time Edited April 19 by Jackzx10 left out info Quote Link to comment
smirk
I'm just rebuilding the worse set of 2004 gsx750f carbs in the world... to go on my 81 gsx1100. Will let you know when I get the buggers on. Quote Link to comment
Enjoythesilence
hello there,i have run 36mm(b12/gsxr/gsxf) carbs on my old et years ago no problem and have fitted b12 carbs on my lads efe kat at the moment also no problem with floats. Quote Link to comment
smirk
Last night I removed the carbs I had on it & tried to see if the different spacing of the bsr36 would fit.... no problems or buggering about with inlets - they popped on with a wiggle! With a little lathe work even got the original choke pull working with them. I'm waiting now for 147.5 mains & 20 pilots to turn up.. I have no idea what to do with the other intermediate jet ( 3 jets is a new one for me) but they are bench synced & needles on bottom clip. Weekend will be first fire up depending on postman.
