Almiester3 Posted March 30 Share Posted March 30 Hi all, have an oil issue on my 95'' gsx750f. The engine flooded after the petcock failed. changed oil & filter, at first after filled with correct amount of oil no oil was showing on the sight glass.So i took sump off & cleaned it & the strainer etc to,now it fills up on the sight glass but after starting it seems to be being ''held'' back in the sump? bike was running perfect before the flooding, any help greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment
badger Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 If you have no oil pressure your warning light would be saying hello, assuming the switch is working etc. Maybe turn it over by hand and see if oil starts coming out from somewhere it should? I.e. cam feed on the back of the head or a cooler line. What makes you think it's been held back in some way? Quote Link to comment
Almiester3 Posted April 4 Author Share Posted April 4 the sump was clogged, as someone previusly had drilled & tapped it whilst on the bike. its all good now, i prefilled the oil filter this time & everything do it what it should thanks 2 Quote Link to comment
