jcd Posted January 14 Posted January 14 i have brand new rs36 flatslides on my 87 gsxr1100 , surging at low revs - is that a sign of being too lean or too rich Quote
Mutley Posted February 3 Posted February 3 If you blip the throttle and it 'hangs' as it comes down...as in it stays high then slowly comes down...lean. Blip it and it stutters and nearly or does die...rich. 2 Quote
XzoB12 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 If your running a 4 into 1 install an o2 bung in the collector inline with more than likely #1 high and tight to engine and you’ll be able to dial in every circuit in those bad boys.. shoot for 12.8 -13.5 on idle circuit Then set the main as close to 13.0 without detonation if detonation is experienced throw more fuel down to 11.5 , then play with needle to get the crispness throughout the entire range . I’m in the beginning stages of doing the same thing with stage 3 Dynojet kit on my 02 Bandit 1200s , but with the stock BSR36ss….takes the guessing out of it without Dyno time.. Quote
gsxfu Posted February 12 Posted February 12 just recently pulled my rs36s apart and found one idle mixture screw was a completly different shape than the others , which my account for the inconsistantcy i had and trouble with setup Quote
